Chapter 24
Sounds of the ocean coming up shore and back played in the background. A light breeze blew through the whole beach. The sky was clear and full of bright stars that gave the beach a dim romantic light creating a peaceful place to be at. A set of stairs filled with flowers and candles cascaded down to the end nearing the sand. On the sand held a table, draped in a creamy color with gold trimming set for two with two candles on the table, and plates, forks, spoons, knifes, and napkins that brought out the color of the cloth.

Tonight was the special night between Justin and Amelia and he had carefully set things up. He was going wine and dine and show her how much he really needed her tonight. Over the past week, he made sure to fix everything possible in his relationship and they were moving pretty quick. His grandmother and mama had cooked and set all the food that they would be eating tonight. He had searched high and low for the perfect private beach so they couldn't be interrupted by anyone, mostly prying cameras. He made sure to keep her out all day so she wouldn't have a clue to what he planned.

Pulling into the beach parking lot, Justin got out and opened Amelia's side. Helping her out of the car because he had blind folded her from seeing a thing. "Justin can you please tell me where we are? You know I hate surprises," she whined.

"Yea, I know, but you'll love this surprise. Just wait. We have a few more steps to make and we'll be there," he announced.

Moving her chair out, he placed her softly and grabbed the basket of food from under the table. Fixing the dishes like he wanted, he lit the candles in front of the both of them. Taking a seat, he doubled checked to make sure everything was intact. Lifting the blind fold off her eyes, she adjusted quickly and let out a gasp. She couldn't believe what she saw before her. All the lit candles that surround the stairs she was lead down to the food before them. Laughing she knew who had cooked their wonderful meal.

"This is beautiful Justin! I never expected you to do such a thing, but I guess I should never under estimate you're talents Timbers," she smiled.

"I guess you shouldn't. I'm glad you like it. Wouldn't be if it wasn't for mama and granny. I wouldn't do anything less for you. Remember that. Now lets see what's under these trays cause it smells good," he smirked.

Revealing the food, both had pasta, few vegetables and Italian bread. A very light dinner composed with many deserts that were till later. "They know just what type of food I like. Food coming from those women means its going to be delicious," she explained. They ate their food with very light conversation and much laughter. The whole dinner, Justin was constantly making funny faces. It reminded her of their happy days together.

There week was amazing and it felt like they had never been apart for so long. She wanted the move faster than they were, but she understood why and was cool with moving slowly. Looking closely at Amelia, Justin was debating whether or not to ask the question he had been practicing for the week she left him and last week. Moving his seat closer to her's, he grabbed her hands and placed them in his.

"Amelia I've loved you for so long. When you left, it was like a piece of my heart went with you. The day I really fell in love with you was when you spent the night over my house. You remember that? I've never felt such passion and intensity with anyone I've been with. You're the only woman who makes my heart beat faster and stop at the same time. That sounds crazy right?, but I really don't care. I wanted to marry you one day. When I was coming back home, I had planned this romantic night to propose. I wanted us to be a family and I hope we can be one soon day. I know what I'm about to do might be crazy, but I'll take my chances," he said breaking out in small tears. By then, Amelia was crying right along with him as they stared into each other's eyes which has been happening a lot.

"Amelia Jean Jacobs will you make the happiest man now and be my wife?," he said bending down on his knees and pulling out a 6.56 carat radiant-cut white diamond ring. The ring was simple, but elegant and fancy enough for Amelia.

Her face was covered in shock. She never knew anything about it and she felt sad that she hurt him that much, but so excited and happy about his proposal. She stopped her little thoughts when she realized she had Justin waiting patiently for her answer.

"Yes! Yes, I'll marry you Justin," she screamed. Slipping the ring on her wedding band finger, he brought her in his arms and kissed her passionately. "I'm going to be Mrs. Timberlake. Can you believe it?"

Laughing, "Yes, I can. I love you Mrs. Timberlake," planting softer kisses on her lips.

"And I love you too. Mr. Timberlake," she said giggling underneath his mouth.
