| It was dinnertime and Justin and Amelia hadn't said one word to one another. It was very evident during dinner to Justin's family so they didn't pursue to ask any questions. Fried chicken, sweet potatoes, vegetables, white rice, gravy, and spinach were served for dinner. Justin's grandmother's, grandfather's, some aunts, uncles, and cousins attended that night. Everyone was very delighted to have Amelia return and to finally see the little girl; Justin talked about so much. Conversation was very heavy. Subjects were from how she was to Jisela. She told them everything they wanted to know. After dinner was over, Justin disappeared with Jisela so she suggested that she's help with the dishes. "No darling, you're a guest. I suggest you go up to Justin's room and maybe talk your problem out," kindly spoke Grandma Bomar. Before Amelia could say another word she answered her question. "I know that boy like the back of my hand. Hahaha and I can tell when he's frustrated with something and not talking gave it all away." Smiling, Amelia reached out and gave her a hug and retreated to Justin's room. Taking a deep breath, she knocked, waiting for a reply. Opening the door, she was facing his back and quickly closed the door. "Justin we need to talk about the kiss," she said. Justin turned around immediately. Surprised to hear her voice. "I know. I was waiting for you to give me a sign or something that it was ok to talk. Take a seat on the bed, I'll be right there," he said, walking into the bathroom. Leaving Amelia on his bed, she sat and played with her hands. A nervous thing she does and lifted her head to see Justin walking out. Taking a seat next to her, he made eye contact. "I kissed you and you kissed me back then you pulled me back into another kiss. I'm not going to lie and say I didn't want it because I did. I'm in love with you and always have been. I know what excuses your going to come up with, saying it shouldn't have happened, but I will not let you go that easily lost you from the beginning because I wasn't watching or calculating your moves. I thought we were good and we could make it through the storm, but I was dead wrong. You're not going to hurt me. The only way you can is if you leave me once again and cheat. I want us, Jisela, you and I to be a family, but it all depend on you," he said in a soft tone. Never leaving his eyes, she said what she should have all along. "I....I love you too and never stopped. No more excuses because I can't deny what I feel any longer. The problem is I'm scared of going back to that life. Re-living what the public has done and will do when they fine out. I want to protect Sela from that harsh public of yours. I can't say this enough, but I'm sorry for what I've done. I regret everyday leaving you, but all I don't cause, who knows what would have happened. I want you back so bad, but we have to talk a lot before anything and make the best of our two weeks as a family," she spilled. Hearing the words "I love you" coming out of Amelia mouth, brought much emotions to Justin as a silent tears fell from his eyes. How he longed to hear those words and to be together again. Enveloping him in a hug she started to laugh and cry at the same time. There was no need for words at this moment. Her saying what she said was all that was needed. Holding, crying, and laughing for a good 10 minutes, Justin asked what had been itching him for the longest. "Would you go on a date with me next week?" "Date? Yes! I'd love that. Hahaha...I feel like I'm high school all over again," she giggled,"Now kiss me. "Oooh....demanding? I like that," he laughed. Leaning lower, he took in Amelia's lips once again, creating moans from her. Back Home Chapter 24 |
