Chapter 13
The next day, Diamond had been narrowly avoiding any eye contact or communication with Justin. She was so confused with her feelings towards him. Sleeping wasn't even an option because all she could think about was the kiss and her reason of being on the tour. The kiss brought much turmoil to her because she was sent there to betray them, but she hadn't done a thing she been there; even promising Jamie some gossip, but never falling through. She had no idea how he felt, but the kiss pretty much explained it all. During certain times, she was called upon, but never delivered anything directly incase she ran into him. This time, she wasn't so lucky.

She got a call from Joey frantically asking her if she would run and get more Twinkies which was ridiculous to her because she made sure their was enough junk to feed an whole army and deliver them to him. She contested to doing it, but she caved in eventually. Walking through the backstage area, she occasionally said hi to a few people she got to know during the short time touring. Knocking on Nsync's dressing room, she got an muffled answer and couldn't quite distinguish the voice. Opening the door, she walked far in and didn't see nay one, but was taken back at what awaited her on the left couch; Justin not Joey.

"Oo-h. J-Justin I didn't know you were in here. Joey asked for something. Would you by any chance no where he would be?," she stuttered, looking anywhere besides him. Taking a bite out of a strawberry, he chewed and stayed silent, knowing she wouldn't be able to take his silence and stare. "Um....I-I guess you don' tso I'm going to go." Moving as quickly as she could to the door, she was stopped by Justin who moved just as quickly to the door.

"You are not going to get away that easily from me. Joey didn't need anything. He and I set this up so I could finally get you in private since all you seem to so all day is avoid me. Now, I would like for you to sit so we can talk about last night because I stayed up most of the night thinking about what to say to you," he explained, lifting her chin slightly to make eye contact. Obeying Justin's order, she sat on the couch Justin was sitting on recently and he locked the door so no one could interrupt. Looking up at him, she saw emotion, strong emotions in his eyes and it scared her.

"I've fallen for you and I can't help it. You're what I think about when I wake up and when I go to sleep at night. I've dreamed of that kissed we shared. I'm never the type to mix business with pleasure, but it just happen. I really have fun with you. I feel like I can be myself and open up to you in ways that I only do with my mama, which is very rare because no one has hold the same status like her. Hopefully I'm not scaring you by spilling all this, but I had to get this out or I'll go crazy," never taking his eyes off of Diamond for a second. Diamond didn't know how to react o such words, but something came over her to let her feeling out..

"Justin, I really don't know what to say. I'm not going to lie about my feelings cause I feel the same way. I don't want to fall, but I have fallen. That kiss, the kiss was amazing and the feeling I got from you. I've never felt this way about anyone, but I don't think I can be with you and its not about you being my boss," she confessed. Justin felt relived and crush in many ways, but he wasn't going to give up easily.

"Then what is it? If its not you working for me then what? I would really like to know."

"You won't understand. There are things about me that you don't know. Things that I wish weren't true, but they are. You think you k-know t-the real me. In the end, someone's going to be hurt and its you. When i think about it, you will be hurt even if were friends. I can't risk you getting hurt deeper," she explained the best way she could without giving much. Confused at her lame excuse, Justin pursued more.

"If I supposedly don't know much about you, then let me get to know you. You're giving me lame excuses, just spit out the damn truth because that's all I want! You say you want me, but you don't. You've got to give me an answer," moving from the couch to the other side of the running, frantically running his hands through his mounds of curls. Sighing, Tia words began to run through her head. If you really want Justin and he wants you, go with the flow and have a relationship. Don't deny yourself of every guy that comes your way because you'll never be happy. Giovanna and I could see the look in your eyes when you spoke of him while in NY. You feel in love hat day and have been pushing it farther and farther away because of Jamie and his dumbass scheme. I'll tell ya one thing, if you do pursue something with him, quit working for Jamie. It may not help a lot, but it will in the end.

What happened next shocked Justin like hell. Diamond raised out of her seat and walked in front of Justin, who had his back turned to her and grabbed his face, placing a soft delicate kiss on his lips which he gladly returned a little more deeper. Pulling away slightly, Diamond opened her eyes and looked into his blue orbs that held passion and lust.

"I'll give us a try, but can we keep it on the down because I rather not have everyone know my business at the moment. Don't get me wrong, I love the guys, but you know," she softly spoke, blushing. Laughing at her sudden shyness, he took his left hand and caressed the side of her face.

"I understand. They can be very nosey at times. I'm glad your willing to make this jump, Michelle," he agreed, pecking her on the mouth and hugging her lightly. A rush a of guilt consumed her at the name of Michelle and a silent tear fell from her eye.
