Kris is a singer/songwriter, primarily acoustic, who plays music around the intermountain west. She was born in upstate N.Y., and has spent time in Utah, Colorado, Oregon, Idaho, and other areas in the west and southwest. Her lyrics come from a place that seems to make sense after the song is free. The songs are acoustic with influences including Bonnie Raitt, Joni Mitchell, and Bob Dylan to name a few. Kris' style of music is an honest blend of folk with a hint of blues. |
