The first clone charged forward and started pounding Zhen with combos. Zhen held his guard and fought back. While Zhen fought the first clone, a second one came to join in the interchange. Now Zhen was having a hard time holding off both fighters, but he still held his guard.
Finally, the third one jumped in and caught Zhen with a fist in the face, which sent him flying back. Right after Zhen hit the ground, the three look-alikes started ganging up on him.
Zhen started raising his power and surrounding his body with electricity.
"Time to get shocked!" he said.
While they were still beating on him, he flew up, knocking all three of them off. He flew back down toward one of them and head butted him in the chest. The first one tumbled back unto another clone, merging with him, leaving two fighters now. Zhen pressed on his attacks on one of them, the other one joining in the attack later.
"That's enough!"
When all three of them turned, they saw Sakoo leaning on a tree.
"Sakoo, this freak attacked me, so I fought back and-"
"I know, Zhen," Sakoo interrupted, "I told him to."
Zhen's jaw dropped. "You told him to? You know this guy?"
While Sakoo and Zhen were talking, the clones had already merged into one fighter. "The name is Monroe, my friend," he said, extending his hand.
Zhen ignored it, still a little confused. "Sakoo, what's going on here?"
"Monroe is a friend of mine, Zhen. While you were out training, he came to visit me. So I asked him to fight with you to see how strong you have become."
Zhen understood now. "You mean this was just a test?" he asked, looking at both of them.
"I told you it wasn't personal," Monroe answered.
"Let's go to the hut, guys, there's a lot to talk about," Sakoo said. The two young warriors followed him.
