Vejita As A Girl
Part VI
The Begining Of The End Part I
As Nappa walked onto Friezas ship, he had the heavy burden of telling the Princess how her family reacted to her letters. He knew that she would mask her feelings, as she always did. Now was the time for Vejita to look forward. She must become the legendary Super Saiyan that she was prophesied to be. If the Saiyan race was to ever be free from the Ice-jin, Frieza, Vejita would have to train hard and endure things no Saiyan; let alone the Princess should endure.

Nappa! Where are you? Vejitas voice rang out in his transmitter.

Im coming aboard the ship, Princess.

Did you give the letters to my family?

Hai, I did.

Ill expect a full report when you arrive in my quarters, she said sternly. Nappa thought she made it sound so routine, like theyd just purge a planet or something. But of course, the Saiyan Princess couldnt allow him to see her true feelings-not twice in one day.

He passed by Zarbon and Dodoria who were whispering and laughing at the tall Saiyan. He thought he heard something about baby-sitting a tree ape, but he ignored it. He just kept thinking of the looks on their faces when Vejita became a Super Saiyan and beat the mortal shit out of them.

Just before opening the door to the Princesss chambers, Saradas voice came upon his transmitter. Nappa-san?

Yes, Princess Sarada?

You take good care of my sister, okay? Cause if you dont, Ill beat the shit out of you when I grow up!

Yes, Princess, he said with a laugh. The door to the chamber flew open with a very pissed Princess standing in the doorway.

Are you going to make me wait all day?! When I tell you to come to my quarters-- you come to my quarters!!!!! She barked.

Gomen nasai, Princess Vejita. I didnt mean to upset you.

Fine, whatever. What did my family say? She asked before turning her back to him. He told of how her mother very openly showed her sadness and how her father fought with everything within him to keep from bursting out into tears. Vejita smirked at hearing her fathers reaction. Always the stone warrior, ne Papa? She thought.

Sarada wanted me to tell you that she loves you and will be there with you when you defeat Frieza. She made me promise to take good care of you, or she would beat me up, he chuckled.

Just like a weakling to think I need someone to take care of me, Vejita seethed trying to fight back the tears. Her little sister, even at such a young age, was so loving and caring. Two qualities Saiyans rarely possessed. But then again, she was only half-Saiyan, Vejita mused. Fine then. Never, ever mention this to me again, Nappa, she stated as the emotionless mask fell back into place.

Nani? He asked.

Do you need your ears cleaned out? I said to never mention what you just told me to me ever again. I am a warrior and do not have time to dwell on such things. They will make me weak and only stand in my way of my destiny, she stated as she walked past him. She picked up the red, silken cape and attached it to her armor.

Could she really be that cold? Could Vegeta have turned her into a heartless, killing machine? Or is this just another front? She must care about her family, otherwise why would she have made me take those letters to them? He thought.

Where are you going? Nappa asked, still a little hurt by Vejitas callous reaction to her parents and sisters sorrow.

We are having an audience with Frieza in ten minutes. Hes going to brief us on our first mission under his command. Come, we dont want to keep the little ice cube waiting, she said as serious as she could.

Six months later. . . .

Vejita, you are amazing! I have never seen another warrior fight with the tenacity that you do! Nappa proclaimed as the effects of going Oozaru wore off.

Really Nappa, did you expect anything from a Royal? And besides, Im going to be a Super Saiyan one day, Vejita smirked as she propped her feet on a nearby rock.

Friezas going to be really please with us. We purged four more planets than what he expected.

Nappa, we must always go beyond our limits. We become stronger after every battle. When Frieza wants us to take five planets, we must take ten!

Hai, Princess, I understand. As the two sat in silence, waiting for Zarbons ship to come and retrieve them from the planet, Vejita thought of how Sarada was supposed to be studying right now. It was time for her to take her exam so that she start her training as a diplomat for Vegetaseii. The Princess sighed as she remembered how the little half-breed brat made her read with her every night. Princess, did you hear a word I just said? Nappa asked.

Of course I did. She replied in a huff. She would never admit to him that she was thinking about her sister and what she was doing now.

Then why didnt you answer my question?

Maybe I didnt think it was worth answering, she replied with her trademark smirk. The look on Nappas face was priceless. He had been bested by a five year old, and a girl to beat that. Vejita openly laughed at him in spite of herself. It felt good to laugh-- just as she did with her mother when she would tell her stories of herself and her father when they were young. Go ahead, Nappa. Ask your question again.

What do you think Frieza will want us to do next?

Who knows. Hell probably find the toughest planet to conquer that he can and just turn you and me loose on it. A familiar hum filled the air, and Vejita and Nappa knew that Zarbons ship was in the area. The flew to meet him; never allowing Zarbon to find them and say that he found and brought Friezas prized monkeys back.

The ships hull opened up, and Vejita and Nappa floated in. They both were very tired as this was the third planet they had purged in as many days. The first planets took awhile because of the timing of the full Moon. However, these last planets had their full Moons with days of one another. They were worn out, and it showed on their faces and in their clothing.

Well, now, little Princess, are we fatigued from the days battle? His voice oozing with sarcasm.

No, Zarbon, I am not. However, I cannot comment on the state of your condition. Seeing as how you never get up off your ass unless Frieza threatens to fry you! Vejita said really before she thought about it.

You little monkey! Just wait till we get off this ship! He charged forward toward her. Nappa placed himself between Zarbon and Vejita causing Zarbon to halt dead in his tracks. One day Nappa, you wont be able to protect her, Zarbon hissed.

Yeah, itll be the day shes protecting me! He hollered to Zarbon who turned on heel and stormed back up the ramp and back into the ships main hall.

I dont need you fighting my battles! Vejita spat at him. Nappa tried to explain to her that was his job. Her father requested that he join her while she was under Friezas command. Vejita raved back that she didnt give a rats ass what her father told him to do-- she didnt need a baldheaded tree monkey playing mother hen to her. After she insulted him for about another five minutes, she stormed off into the main hall to her quarters.

Kami! What did I do to deserve this?! I obeyed my King; did everything he asked of me. And now Im stuck baby-sitting this brat who doesnt give a shit about anyone but herself, he threw up his hands before a voice called out,

Shes quite a handful, isnt she?
