Vejita As A Girl
Part I
The story's title is a play off Misa's wonderful story, "Venus As A Boy."

Princess Vejita ascended the stairs leading into Frieza's spaceship and paused just before entering. She turned to look at the small child being held in the beautiful woman's arms. Vejita was reminded of the promise she had made to the little girl before leaving her.

*Flashback*

"Sarada, I promise I won't be gone for very long," the Princess sighed as she tried to put down the little girl.

"Veji-chan, I have an awful feeling about this," she declared holding onto Vejita even tighter.

"You're just being silly. I'm just going to hold an audience with Lord Frieza; you know how he is. I'll be gone for a day or so, no more."

"You promise?"

"Yes, Sar-chan, I promise," she kissed the little girl's cheek and stroked her chestnut hair.

Vejita smiled to the girl and bowed her head before turning back to the task at hand-meeting with Frieza. As she strolled down the corridor with Frieza's men in tow, the Princess still thought of the little girl she'd left behind; her half-sister Sarada. Sarada was the result of an affair the King had with one of the palace slaves. Once the slave told the King she was pregnant, she was made a royal concubine. This concubine was not of Saiyan blood, she was a Tuffle; one of the last remaining Tuffles on Vegetaseii.

Vejita's mother made the King publicly recognize Sarada as his daughter which surprised a great many on Vegetaseii. After all, it wasn't every day that the King proclaimed he had a bastard daughter with a slave woman. The Queen took great steps to make sure Sarada and her mother, Fiewu, were taken care of. The Queen hated the fact that her mate had bedded another woman, but she was not going to hold it against the slave. She was a slave and if the King wanted her, then that was the end of the story.

"Vejita," a smooth and silky voice interrupted her reverie.

"Zarbon," she said with a scowl.

"Such a pretty face, and yet you contort it into an ugly fashion," he chuckled.

"Listen, I'm not here to exchange 'pleasantries' with you. Frieza has beckoned me here."

"I know what's going on, Saiyan. Come, follow me," he sneered. Vejita hated Zarbon. He was always so smug and so right in Frieza's eyes. When it came to matters concerning Vejita, Zarbon was always right. She didn't know why Frieza treated so horribly, wasn't she the heir to Vegetaseii's throne. Wouldn't he think she'd serve him, just like her father did? Maybe Frieza thought she'd rebel against him. Maybe he thought he couldn't control her like he did her father.

The two approached the Ice-jin's chambers as Dodoria was emerging from them. "Ah, Zarbon, are you monkey-sitting again?" He laughed.

'I'll show you, you big gum ball, who's a monkey!' She thought as he directed a ki blast at one of the pink spikes on the behemoth's head.

"Ouch, you brat! I'll kill you for that!" Dodoria shouted as he lunged for the Saiyan Princess.

"Dodoria!" A scratchy voice loomed from inside. "You're dismissed!"

"Yes, Frieza," he said with a twinge of fear in his voice. "You'll pay, monkey brat," he whispered to Vejita as he went by.

"Whatever, tubbo!" She whispered back.

"Zarbon, bring the Princess to me!" Frieza bellowed.

"Yes, my Lord," he answered as he pulled the little girl by the tail, knowing it immobilized her. Vejita silently cursed Zarbon as he dragged her unceremoniously into the tyrant's chambers where he sat, amused at what he saw.

"Well now, my little princess, what shall I ever do with you?" He laughed as he swirled the purple liquid around in his wine goblet.

"Lord Frieza, you requested my presence?" Vejita asked as she jerked her tail from Zarbon's grasp. She was hoping to change the subject. When Frieza had that tone of voice, it could only mean trouble. The Ice-jin began to explain that he wanted Vejita to purge a planet-- all by herself. She tried to protest stating that she was quite ready for such a challenge, but Frieza would hear none of that. He explained to her that she doubted herself too much. He believed that she was strong enough for such a minuscule task.

Gulping, she agreed to take the mission; as if she had any choice. After that, Frieza announced that her father had turned her over to him.

"What do you mean by that?" She asked quizzically.

"I mean that you are my charge now. Your father has no right to you. You are my responsibility now."

"My father would never do that!" She spat.

"Oh believe it or not, your father has given you up to me," He stated as he stood. He slowly glided over to the Princess and whispered, "And there's not a thing you can do about it."
