UNDER CONSTRUCTION
We all know how nice it is to escape from the South Florida Heat into a watery retreat. Palm Beach and Broward County have some great parks that offer water playgrounds - the perfect place for toddlers and grade-schoolers to burn off some energy - sliding, climbing,crawling, and playing, all in a a safe shallow pond of water. Most of these parks do require a vinyl-sealed swim diaper for infants and toddlers, so make sure to grab one before heading out the door! Some of our favorites: Lake Lytal Park 3645 Gun Club Rd., West Palm Beach, FL (561) 233-1426 Lake Lytal has a wonderful toddler-friendly water playground, located within the aquatic complex. It's free for the little ones and under $4 for adults. The seperate pool area has lap swimming as well as a few larger water slides and diving boards for older kids.
