Meet my Friends
Even more awesome people
This is my friend Ashley. She used to live in Cartersville and go to school with us, but now she lives with her older sister out in California! She's an awesome singer. She was only in chorus with me for one semester, but she got a solo and she's done talent shows and cool stuff like that. Ashley's hilarious, she's crazy but that's why she's awesome.
This is my friend Corey. He also used to live in Cartersville, but he had to move. His dad's the manager of K-Mart or something like that, so he ended up back in Dalton, where he lived before Cartersville. When Ashley came to visit this past summer, we got to go see him graduate! This picture is of him right after graduation, with all his cords and medals. Go Corey!
The red-headed hunk is my buddy T.J. He holds a special place in my heart because he was my first-ever crush. awww Yea and he won't let me forget it either. It was way back in 6th grade and I was too shy to tell him all year. I finally gave him a note on the last day of school. OMG I'm such a dork. But anyway, he never did call me that summer! But we're real good friends now. Here we are at prom looking all pretty.
This is MattMatt! And everytime you say his name, you have to say it "MattMatt!" See, there were two Matts in band, so when someone would refer to "Matt," we'd always have to ask which Matt. Which Matt? You know, MattMatt! Like me, Matt has graduated, but cannot stay away from band. We both went back for band camp this year, just for fun and to help out. I don't know about him, but I plan on going to every football game this year, just for the band! Yea, be a band groupie.
This is my buddy, Jay Parker (no relation). Before he came last year, my brother and I were the only Parkers in school, but now Jay is here and an interesting coincidence- all three Parkers play trombone! But anyway, even though he was a mere freshie last year, Jay tried out for drum major, and made it! So now he's the youngest drum major Cartersville has had in like 50 years (yes, we know, Jay). This is a picture of him practicing before tryouts last year. See? I knew he would make it.

Ashley doesn't like the picture I had up of her (I didn't think it was so bad), but she's sending me a new one.
