In the blue dress is my friend Gretchen. I've known her since 4th grade, forever. Back in middle school, we used to have sleepovers a lot but I always got homesick and called my parents in the middle of the night. Now I don't get homesick as easily, but I still don't like to be away from home for too long. Gretchen is a bit of a drama queen sometimes (ok, a lot of times), but she's still cool. She's going to be a famous Hollywood actress when she gets older and she's going to be in my movies. This picture is from prom; behind us is Gretchen's big, gorgeous house.
This is Chris D. I met him in 7th grade. We had lunch together and I didn't really know anybody, and he didn't seem to know anybody besides Laura, so I just kinda sat with them. All three of us didn't really talk much at first, but now we're really good friends. Chris is going to Kennesaw this year for college. He's going to be a chorus teacher. I'm going to have him teach my kids! And sorry, ladies, Chris is gay. What a waste of a handsome guy, don't you agree? ;)
Here is Tina, her boyfriend Josh, and me at prom. Tina and Josh have been going out for a good while now, I think over a year. Tina's probably the most independent of my friends so far. She is practically living with Josh and his family and might actually buy a house soon! That is way more independant than I am right now. But I don't blame her. Her family's pretty cool but kinda disfuntional. I mean, mine is too, and I have developed more independence because of it, just not as much as Tina. Tina is going to be a band director. She did the teacher cadet program at the middle school for 2 years, so she's already experienced.
Here is Kayla with her boyfriend Nick. They're so cute together, and Kayla cannot stop talking about him! Here they are at prom romantically feeding chocolate-covered strawberries to each other. Aw, how sweet. Later on at prom, we decided to goof around and I have a picture of me and Kayla "romantically" stuffing rolls in each other's mouths. Aw, how sweet.
