Day 11

The growth process continues

The new tadmen have begun growing legs. They are small and spindly, but they are legs nonetheless.

One of them went on and on about how he existed. He said that since John F Kennedy was in magazines and people talked to him and he existed, and the same goes for Seaman, then he exists too, he is real.

That's some logic.

Day 12

Legs legs legs!!

The legs of the Tadmen are getting larger, and smaller front legs are beginning to form. They are still sucking each other's blood now and there are 2 left. Their tails are beginning to get smaller, we are expecting them to get onto land soon.

Day 13

Land ho!

Now their front legs are fully developed, and they have moved upon land. I think they look really silly as frogs, they were a lot better as fish.

They are called Frogmen now, and they hop around and things. My friend fed one a spider, and it got sick. I guess my friend was right in his assumption.

Day 14

Yay!

The sick Frogman got better. Apparently the poison from the spider was not fatal.

There is not much to say about them now, except that they keep talking about interesting things such as health and sports and other things. I am waiting for them to copulate, considering there were 2 the last time they did so.

Whaaat?

Leonard Nemoy stated to us that he thinks he knows what Seaman is. He informs us that there was a legend, a legend of two lovers that were separated, and were transformed into other beings. They are now trying to evolve after thouands of years, and eventually they will end up together.

This confused us at first, but later, we decided that this was an ok plan.

Day 15

Let the copulation begin

After stating "Seaman porn!" loudly, one Seaman hopped over to the other, mounted its back, and they stuck their sucker, antenna things together. With smiling faces, they copulated in a wild frenzy. And the best part? No death! Both Seamen lived!

Be freeeee!

Soon after, one Seaman, the female now I suppose, approached the front of the tank, stating something about needing to get out. Finally, the odd ring at the top of the tank was mentioned. Apparently, if she could only make it to that ring, she could be free. We didn't know how, but we decided to help her.

After a bit of trying, she finally managed to leap onto the ring, pulling it downwards. The walls of the tank dissapeared, and the outside world opened before our eyes. The two Seamen hopped out into the jungle-like setting.

We were nearly in tears as the Seaman thanked my friend for his tender care, watching over him each day, and helping him evolve. He said that he would continue to evolve, because he had to find a way to be with his lost love.

He said that he would come back every now and then, whenever we needed him all we had to do was "tap..tap...tap...." Then they both hopped away.

After the rhudamentory sadness of releasing our Seamen into the wild, we decided to explore. There was not much to do..but the game hadn't yet ended, so we thought that something else must be going on. We decided to call the Seamen back...

Tap..tap...tap..tap

Upon tapping, an interesting beat began. My friend continued tapping, and a song started, then the credits. And then our Seamen were back, dancing along, watching the credits. It was some fun.

We still don't know what will happen if we come back, if they will continue to evolve, or if we can still feed them or not. We can still access the food menus and things like that, but my friend says he wants them to go in peace, they don't need him anymore. I think he is dissapointed, and he gets depressed when he sees them in the wild, so he doesn't want to call them back anymore. On some points I agree, but I still want to see what will happen to them.

Overall, the game was fun. Talking with the Seamen was very amusing, and we laughed our asses off at some points. I recommend anybody with a Dreamcast at least rent the game, you'll become quite attached.
