Avatar: The Last Airbender
A fansite

This is my little addition to the Avatar fandom. It's not much, but it's mine.

Fan Fiction:
The Fire Priestess:. Rated ages 13+ for death and scary stuff. A short story, or rather, story within a story, about an old legend of the Avatar world...

Eyes To An Artist...: A series of short, mostly unrelated graphic drabbles that will eventually fuse into a fan fic/fan comic. You might wanna skip down and review my OC stuff before reading.

1sentence: Zuko/Amaya: Alpha set Yes, because I'm just that lame.

1sentence: Zuko/Amaya: Gamma set Because I need more writing practice.

Prodigal Son: Rated ages 8+ for mild violence. Just a short speculation on how TCG character Kinto might fit into show canon.

Nearing the Horizon: Rated for pretty much anyone. Aang's thoughts as he nears his battle with the Fire Lord.

1sentence: Multi-pairings: Delta set No OCs this time, only canon characters. Pairings include slash/femslash, crack, and one implied potential incest.

A Twist of Rope: Zuko and Katara, traveling through the woods, one an unwilling prisoner in an exchange. Rated 8+ for... actually, there not much except a few insults and minor violence, about the level of the show.

The Wooded Temple: My 2006 Halloween fic, rated 13+ for violence, gore, and general scary stuff. Aang's gang escape Azula's trio only to find more dangers and an old enemy...

Fan Art:

Canon Characters: Aang, Katara, Sokka, Zuko, etc.

How Aang and friends learned Zuko's name - Ive been wondering for a few months about something, ever since I taped several episodes and have been rewatching them Screenshot manip. Screenshots from Firebender.com
First Zuko - My first serious attempt at Zuko. Fire's hard to draw in grayscale. Pencil.
Agni Kai Zuko - As a Zuko fan girl, I'm required by law to have at least one of these in my gallery. Pencil.
Aang, Airbending - First serious attempt at Aang after attempts to draw his happy, fun-loving self failed horribly. Pencil.
Zuko, on the raft - Okay, so the raft is wrong, but he looks so Crayola pencil.
Zuko, in a poets shirt Why? Because I can. I think theyre sexy, especially on already good-looking guys. Prismacolor pencils.
Zuko, from Waterbending Master WARNING for blood, and I guess episode spoilers, kinda. Im glad at least some of the hair highlights showed up. Acrylic craft paint.
Zuko, dressed up Because I like dressing him up. Prismacolor pencil.
Chibi Snow Ninja Zuko Doll! Proof that I have far too much time on my hands. I carry him around in my pocket. Repainted figure.
Waterbending Lesson Aang gets a lesson from Katara. I dont draw the good guys as much as I should. Pencil.
Snow Ninja Zuko Kinda old but I still like how the lighting came out. Crayola pencil.
Sailor Azula Inspired by Booter-Freaks Sailor Yue, I did draw this before I saw animekitties, but thats okay, I like hers better. Prismacolor pencil.
Fire Card Zuko, as Fire. Part of my flash/oracle card series Im playing with. Prismacolor pencil.
Female Agni Kai Just me wondering what women firebenders would wear to duel. Prismacolors.
The Fire Priestess Illustration for my Fan Fiction by the same title. Prismacolors.
Female Zuko Saw a bunch of people doing this a long time ago, but I didnt have a scanner back then, so I put it up now. Prismacolor pencil.
Airbender Tattoos - WARNING for blood, but they're tattoos, what do you expect? I'm surprised I haven't come across a piece on this subject before. Crayola Watercolors.
Shirtless Sokka - Man, we are getting the fan service this season, aren't we? Pencil.
Blue Spirit, Blue Flame - Inspired by a comment someone else made about the possible significance of the choice of masks. Sharpies/acrylic paint.
Mud Wrestling - Katara vs. Jojo. Water vs. Earth. What do you expect? Prismacolor pencils.

Short comics and chibis
Page o Chibis! Just that, a page of chibis. A couple OCs, but mostly not. Crayola pencil.
Little Fire Prince A Fire Nation Puppet Show! Those are always such fun. (I know Azulas colors are very, very wrong, but I didnt have references when I drew this.) Crayola pencil.
Inner Voices Devil Zuko vs. Angel Zuko. I cant be the only one who wonders what goes on in that pretty little head of his. Sharpies.
Kataras Necklace Not trying to step on other theories, but I just had to let my theory be known. Sharpies.
I Miss Zuko Were pretty sure Azulas going after Zuko and Iroh, but odds are, shell run into the trio eventually. Pencil.
Origami I think that at the time Avatar is supposed to take place, this would probably be popular among royals on second thought, it might not be the best hobby for Fire Nation Crayola pencil.
Amaya meets Jun Amayas betting on the hope that Jun just wont get it. Theres a third part to this joke, but I didnt want to raise the rating too high. Sharpies.
Good Candy Yeah, good candy makes everything better Sharpies.
Manicure - I'm so envious of Azula's nails. She must have one heck of a manicurist to keep them - O.O *flees* Pencil.
April Fools! - Classics never die, but someone needs to tell Iroh thats not the best way to convince Zuko to drink his tea. Sharpies.
April Fools! Part Two! - Another April Fools comic, because you know he would. Again, classics never die. *curses the limited colors Sharpies come in* Sharpies.
Page o Chibis 2! The new looks of our main characters, plus several secondary characters from chapters 1-3 of Book Two. Crayola pencils.

Original Characters: (May include canon characters.)

Amaya: Amaya was born in the very heart of the Fire Nation capital, to two of the most esteemed artisans of the Nation. As such, she has a natural talent for art, and has studied her entire life. She's an artisan to the core, and everything about her, from her art style to the way she moves and the words she uses are elegant, subtle, and purposeful. Her favorite subject is Prince Zuko, whom she first met when they were five, and she was helping her father as he painted the young prince's portrait. She's studied (and pretty much mastered) painting, wood carving and burning, clothing making, and pottery. She's a beginner at jewelry making but hasn't worked with gems. Music and cooking are skills she can't quite get a hang of, although she's a good dancer.
Behind the quiet strength and easy elegance of a Fire Nation noble, Amaya has a sharp mind, when she's not daydreaming at least, and has a good understanding of human nature. Through some casual comments and a lot of dumb luck, she's ended up engaged to Prince Zuko. Shortly after this, she decided she wanted to do some traveling, and that's where all her problems start...

Amaya - A simple piece, Amaya surrounded by her drawings of her favorite subject... Crayola pencil.
Summer Solstice - Zuko and Amaya, dressed for the Summer Solstice. Okay, it's just an excuse to draw cool formal wear. Crayola pencil.
Pet Trouble Pets are so cute! Zuko got a bristle cat. However, Amayas red-berry bird doesnt look thrilled Sharpies/crayola pencil.
Throwing Tops This is a childrens game popular in the Fire Nation (in my fanon). This is the only physical game that Amayas better at than Zuko. Prismacolor pencil.
Zuko and Amaya Then Arent they cute? In about two seconds someones gonna come along to drag Zuko off for some princely lessons, Im sure. Pencil.
Zuko and Amaya Now In about two seconds someones gonna come around the corner and Zukos gonna drop her like a hot rock and pretend they were talking about the weather. Pencil.
We arent children anymore I think you made your point Amaya. Amaya? Pencil.
Disguise Abandoned in the Earth Kingdom, Amaya attempts to blend in. At least theyre less conspicuous and more durable than the Hey, look! Im a Fire Nation noble! silk gown she arrived in. Crayola pencil.
Thats my shoulder So out of character for them both, but so cute! Prismacolor pencil.
Wedding gowns These were just designs for a two page graphic drabble, but I needed to get the designs down. Crayola pencil.
Azula and Amaya - Hostage Situation. They really just dont like each other. (Because of the twist angle, Amayas waist looks way too tiny. >< ) Water colors.
Amayas Tattoo(s) - Wanted to illustrate Amayas tattoo. Only the traditional Fire Nation symbol on her back is cemented in her character, the other one I may or may not use. Ink.

Rong: Rong is a very strange young man. It all started when he was very young, several years before Aang was released from the iceburg. At eight, Rong was practicing his earthbending near the pond by his home with his mother. When she had to leave to make dinner, he got upset. To his amazement, the water in the pond rippled. He instantly realized he could waterbend and following this train of thought, realized that he was The Avatar. When he told his mother she told him that he couldn't be The Avatar.
Well, not being the Avatar was okay, but he'd still moved the water. Over the following years, the theory formed in his head. Single element bending was a socially imposed limitation, and anyone had the ability to bend any and all the elements. And so his quest to learn them all began, and he continues his quest with great enthusiasm... and miserable failure.
Rong obviously never realized that he'd simply moved the bedrock at the bottom of the pond all those years ago, which caused the ripples. But even though he's mastered Earthbending, and studied the fighting styles of both the Fire Nation and Water Tribe, he's never again bended anything but earth. And yet, at twenty-five, he still continues his quest, with his pet rock, Geo.

Rong - My reality-challanged Earthbender. So pretty... Prismacolor pencil(?)
Rong Decisions A short comic strip featuring Rong. Because a paragraph and single portrait just do not give you the whole Rong experience. Pencil.

Misc.
Fire Oracle Now THIS is a Mary-Sue, but I really liked the design. Dont worry, she wont show up again, she stays safe in my *cough*private journal*cough*. Sharpies.
