Church of Christ Kalgoorlie began in August 1898. Five years after the discovery of gold on the "Golden mile".
The church has been a part of the community of Kalgoorlie-Boulder since that time, enduring the heyday of the goldrushes,
the slump of the depression years, two world wars, and the ups and downs in the mining industry.
As a church, our style of worship would best be described as "contemporary" and " charismatic". Our focus is on both the growth of individual believers and the transformation of our city. As a consequence of this focus, we emphasise both evangelism and discipleship within the local church. |
