Neranza Blount wants viewers to appreciate instead of taking for granted what they see around them. Born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee with occasional residences in Paris and Yugoslavia, she is a nature lover who is intrigued with science. She uses a variety of media and creates oil paintings including murals, pen & ink architectural renderings, note cards, photography, designer wear, computer graphics, and videography. She has produced hiking documentaries of the Great Smoky Mountains and co-produced a variety show for Community Television. She has been the art director of music videos and a judge for art shows and animations of an independent film festival. She served on the Board of Directors for the Art Market Gallery and produces faux finishes in residential homes while pursuing photographic and videographic documentation of the Great Smoky Mountains and surrounding areas. Her works are in various collections including those in New York, Paris and Yugoslavia.
