CUSTOMS HOUSE MUSEUM AND CULTURAL CENTER
Known as the Old Federal Building, this imposing
structure was built by the federal government in 1898 as a Post
Office and Customs House. A blend of classic architectural styles,
the building housed the Clarksville Department of Electricity from
1936-1982 and became home for the museum in 1984. It is listed in
the National Register of Historic Places.
