Physical Description: Talmai is tall and wiry for a woman (5'10). She has lightly tanned skin. More often then not she gets burned before she'll tan. She has light brown hair that she keeps in a braid. Her hair goes mid-back. Her eye's are a light green. She has asmall scar under her right eye and some old scars from her childhood days.
Emotional Description: She is the most stable person you could know. Nothing seems to get her down. She will do her work until its done and keeps a steady head when things are to the crumbling point. She loves kids. She doesn't really like to deal with the older riders because they seem to nag alot. Under all this, she is hiding a very deeply hidden hurt.
Brief History: Talmai was born into the Weyr and was immediately fostered. Her mother Teana was a very young greenrider and her father Delan was a brownrider. Teana became pregnant after her green flew for the first time. Teana was sad that she had to foster her daughter but knew it was the best thing for both of them. Her father denied the baby was his. Talmai grew into a young woman. She was always the leader. She managed to be able to get out of tight sticky situations and the other weyrbrats often followed her lead. When she turned 18 she was finally searched with her good friend Slena. Slena impressed a green from the next clutch, but Talmai was very lucky that Imrith chose her. She finished out her weyrling training.
Soon after a tragedy struck. Seyleth and Perath rose at the same time. Their riders Leana and Katlyn tried to command them to different parts of the Weyr territory but it was no use. They fought then went between. Soon after Leana and Katlyn followed leaving Talmai/Imrith as the only rider to carry on.
Talmai immediately took charge and sent out for help. Rokena, rider of gold Covith soon answered the call and transfered. Several years passed. Talmai has one daughter and a son. Currently she is waiting for Imrith to rise.
Abilities/Strengths/Weaknesses: She is a very stable and steady person. She hides her pain because she doesn't like to show her weaknesses.

Emotional Description: Imrith is decidedly quiet gold. Only speaking when she is spoken to. She is very protective and doesn't like it when others are near her clutch. She is a bit possessive of the hatching grounds when her eggs are on the sands.
Abilities/Strengths/Weaknesses: is very stable like her rider, but she is also too protective over those she loves...including her babies.
