Physical Description: Rokena stands about 5'7, with a very fleshed out form. She weighs about 160 lbs, almost plump but definitely not overweight or skinny. Her face is round with dimples in both chins. Her medium brown hair falls to midback and is often plaited. Her eyes are a mixture of color - green-blue, gold and brown.

Rokena's skin is naturally olive and blemish-free. Her hands are small and nimble, a definite sign of her preference in weavercraft. Her breasts fall in the medium catergory, though quite full, and she sometimes wishes they were smaller. The only scars on her body are on her hands, from looms, needles and knives.

Emotional Description: Rokena grew up as a very shy, obedient child - something that takes over when she's in new situations. Once she's comfortable though, she has no problem taking charge. She's a fair leader, open-minded, and someone that others find easy to talk to about their problems. Rokena adores children but isn't ready to have her own. She is incredibly protective of her riders and children. She's quick to forgive the faults of others but not her own. She'll occasionally chastise herself to a crying bundle when she messes up but not many people know of this. To the Weyr, she is their leader and shows very little weakness, but lots of compassion. She has no taste for one-night stands and keeps a male around for long periods of time after mating flights.

Brief History:Rokena is the eldest daughter of Braladek and Falorca. She has many siblings and often helped her mother take care of them all without complaint. She longed, however, to get out the small Hold she was stuck in but never dreamed of such a chance.

When she was twelve, Rokena's father reluctantly agreed to let her study a craft, but only until he found her a suitable husband. Rokena jumped at the chance to study weavercraft, as she had always admired the tapestries hanging in the Hold. It was during her time as an apprentice that she met her first dragonrider. She was Searched at fifteen but her father flatly refused to allow her to go. But the seed of curiosity had been planted in Rokena. She tried to learn all she could about the Weyr, behind her family's back of course, while continuing in her studies.

When she was seventeen, she met a dragonrider named S'dul and had a brief romance with him. S'dul often took her for ridges on his blue and Rokena became increasingly more determined to become a dragonrider. She ran away the next time she was Searched, to her parents' fury, and Stood. She didn't Impress. S'dul asked her to stay with him, saying that she could Stand as many times as she wanted to. She did and on her fourth Hatching, incredulously Impressed gold Covith.

Weyrlinghood's restraints upon relationships proved to be a way out for S'dul, who knew his blue would never fly Covith. Rokena remained friends with him but nothing ever returned to their prior relationship, a heartbreaking lesson she had to deal with. She dove into her studies as the new goldrider with dogged determination.

After graduation, Rokena tried to make amends with her family, bringing Covith to the Hold to meet them. Her siblings were overjoyed at meeting a dragon, especially a gold, but her father refused to come out and see her. Rokena never returned to her old Hold but kept in contact with her siblings, encouraging them to follow their dreams as well.

Sometime into their seventh Turn as a pair, a call was sent out for goldriders to help the crippled Kalarek Weyr. Rokena immediately jumped on to the chance, thoroughly annoyed with the North's frigid terrain. She transferred to Kalarek with the hopes of starting anew and escaping the disappointment of her family.

Abilities/Strengths/Weaknesses:Levelheaded, fair, tends to beat herself up when she makes mistakes.

Physical Description: Covith is a sunset-tinged gold. She is on the larger side of medium, with long wings. Her hide is a basic gold hue with highlights and undertones varying from rose to orange.

Emotional Description: Covith echoes her rider to the near T. She is levelheaded and fair, a leader by nature, willing to help those in need always, and very doting of younger dragons. She has, however, little tolerance for errant dragons, something that her and Rokena argue about when the situation arises.
