Physical Description: J'rek stands at about 6'2, with a heavyset build, broad shoulders, dark black hair that hangs a bit in his dark brown eyes, large hands, and a scar on his left arm from a knife fight Turns ago. He is large but not fat, just pure muscle. His jaw is square, with a slight cleft in his chin and a dimple that sometimes appears in his right cheek.

Emotional Description: For all his size, J'rek is amiable and friendly. He has his loyalties and only uses his mass when those things are threatened. Most people find him to be openminded, sociable and easy to talk with. He enjoys drinking with pals at dinner, telling stories, meeting new people and physical challenges.

When it comes to relationships, J'rek likes women over men but has no problem finding a mate in his gender. He's a goodhearted man, with plenty of love and dedication to his mate. His only fear is losing the ones he loves.

Brief History: Jurek was born at the Weyr, the only son of brownrider J'rel and greenrider Yukena. He spent his childhood running around the Weyr until he decided to become a starsmith at twelve Turns. He spent the next few Turns at sea with his journeyman teacher until the ship returned to port one day, just in time for a Hatching. Jurek was watching from the sands, at a young fifteen Turns old, when a clumsy blue dragon tried to climb up the tiers to reach him. Unwilling to believe that the dragon was actually looking for him, it took Jurek some moments to finally make his way down to where Falarnath was waiting.

J'rek began his new, yet familiar life at the Weyr again, happily complete with Falarnath at his side. The pair were quick students and Falarnath's youth proved helpful in learning difficult maneuvers. After graduating into the wings, they settled down as fighters, occasionally taking a weyrmate for brief times but never committing.

J'rek did, however, sire two children throughout his bed-romping Turns - his son Jorrault and his daughter Jurea, by greenriders Raula and Iria. J'rek made time to keep involved in the lives of his children, making sure that they were open to all walks of life.

Currently, J'rek just enjoys the predictable nature of his life - practice, sweeprides, Threadfall, and restdays.

Emotional Description: Falarnath is outgoing and sociable, just like his rider. He loves to talk with greens and other blues and enjoys children immensely. J'rek often has to call him off playing too much during serious times, despite the dragon's thirteen Turns of maturity.
