Physical Description: Jharrod has brown hair with golden highlights that curls slightly. His brown eyes are flecked with gold. He has a childish face, almost feminine, with a dimple in his right cheek. His skin is tan from hours spent in the sun and he has a boyishly male build, bringing his height to about 5'10.

Emotional Description: Jharrod is good-natured and mature, but he enjoys playing the occasional joke or just being silly. He's almost always in a good mood, as he enjoys teaching the apprentices about their aspiring craft. He enjoys a challenge, knows his strengths and weakness yet fears dying a slow death. When it comes to women, Jharrod doesn't chase every skirt around, though he'll conversate with anyone. Unfortunately, he's picky, which makes him the Hall's most eligible bachelor.

Brief History: Jharrod is the second son of Perian and Adilya. His siblings include brothers K'noten and Torlandom and sisters Brielle and Torela. Jharrod was born at Sakura Hold and didn't express much desire to leave early on, though he did spend a few Turns as a Candidate. Despite his great love for the ocean, Jharrod was quite terrified to enter it as a child and instead, spent family days at the beach bawling on the sand. He finally got over his fear at the age of seven.

Jharrod watched his oldest sister Brielle Impress gold Oaranth when he was ten. K'noten followed the next Turn. Jharrod put off his junior year in apprenticeship to Stand. But he knew the life of a dragonrider was not for him. Only slightly disappointed that he didn't Impress, Jharrod returned to the Dolphin Hall to continue his studies. He still brags though that he has high-ranking dragonriding siblings.

At the age of twenty, just two Turns into his journeymanship, Jharrod became involved with another journeywoman named Falena. Their relationship was tumultuous, climaxing in Falena's pregnancy. Jharrod called off their relationship and has since become very picky of who shares his life, but he does try his best to be a decent father to Fynn, his daughter.
