Physical Description: G'vin is an aver 5'7", with a fairly average build. Not particularly muscular, neither is he fat. While barely six months out of weyrling training, he has seen a fair amount of Thread-fighting. His first flight left him with three Threadscore scars. One crosses his left cheek marring one of the spatters of freckles across cheeks, nose and forehead. The second scar is about halfway up the back of his left forearm, running about two inches long and almost parallel with his wrist. The third is a crescent shaped scar in the middle of the back of his left hand, also more or less parallel with his wrist. Those scars combine with an impish grin, dark green eyes and straw-blond hair for cute, though not exactly classically handsome, features.

Emotional Description: G'vin is a young man that keeps his emotions held tightly. While he has been in his fair share of scrapes, and taken more than a few young women to bed, he prefers to his his actual feelings. In fact, the only emotional outbursts he really has are generally in the presence of his weyrmate, an engaging greenrider by the name of Sarnya.

Brief History: Born as Garvin, son of a minor farm of Three Falls Hold, he knows his way around a field. He was a diligent worker, when he could be enticed to work, that often ended up sunburned. Within a few days he would peel and end up with his very lightly tanned complexion. Barely more than half past the age of seventeen he was discovered on by a Search dragon. The day he impressed brown Vaerth marked the birth of the more easy going G'vin. He and his dragon are both fairly lazy, but they know their duty, and never shirk from doing whatever necessary to protect Pern from Thread.

Abilities/Strengths/Weaknesses: His weakness would definitely lie in his abhorrent laziness. Both he and Vaerth would be content to while their days away basking in the sun or swimming. Fortunately, they are loyal to their Weyr, and when called upon to do their duty, aquit themselves admirably. Growing up on ranging farmland, G'vin is extremely claustrophobic, far preferring riding Vaerth in wide open air.

Attatched NPCs: Blonde-haired, blue eyed Sarnya, rider of green Wenth. Sarnya is a cute girl of 16 turns that truly loves G'vin, and thankfully whose Wenth was flown by Vaerth. She is petite and shapely, standing only shoulder high with G'vin. However, she does have a rather explosive temper and prone to random moodswings


Pets: Twill - blue flit - 3 turns - Twill is a tiny little fellow that is a startling shade of cobalt. He's rambunctious, playful and very affectionate with G'vin's weyrmate. In fact, the little blue seems more attached to her at times than he is to G'vin himself.

Description: Vaerth is easily as lazy as his rider. Mostly a dark shade of brown, he has some lighter, almost tan speckles across his flanks. The only thing Vaerth loves more than sleeping, well besides eating and swimming, and his rider, is his mate. He is very possessive of green Wenth, and is appreciably sensitive to her condition. In fact, Vaerth often knows when Wenth is going to rise to mate before her own rider knows.
