Physical Description: Elana is a 5'5" female who weighs in at 130 pounds. She has black hair that is kept about shoulder length, which creates the illusion of a frame for her face. Her facial features give the appearance of an innocent child. Her eyes are set close together and are hazel in color. Her Nose is small and resembles a button. Her mouth is small, but has full lips that are always a crimson red in color.

Elana�s body build is what one would call small. If one was to look at her they would think that if a strong enough wind came along she would be blown away. She has a wide chest and big hips which lead down to her legs. Her legs are long, and also have the appearance of being quite strong. Her overall appearance would be that of a body built for running long distances or for dancing. Her hands are also on the small side. Her fingers are long and slender. Elana is very dexterous.

Emotional Description: Elana is a very kind and caring person. She has a deep love of dragon kind. However, she feels that she is not good enough to impress a dragon. Her greatest dream is to impress a golden queen dragon but to her any dragon would do. She feels that she is worthless. She has a low self-esteem, because she feels that as a child she was abandoned. Even though she has a low self esteem, she is very good natured. She has a mischievous side that she keeps in check. However, she is also considered shy but that is because she withdraws from other people.

Brief History: Elana is the daughter of a Bronze rider or at least that is what she has been told. She lost her mother to illness when she was 3 turns old. Her father was taken by thread when she was just about 2 turns.

Elana has been fostered at Kalarak Weyr. She would like to become a healer and so she helps out the Weyrs dragon healers and the regular Weyr healers. She also helps out in the kitchens. Elana spends all of her free time in the library reading about healer practices.

Elana's childhood was spent either reading or getting picked on by the other fosterlings at Kalarak Weyr. Because of lack of social contact she has become withdrawn.

When Elana was 12 turns old she was given a fire lizard egg by her only friend at the time Merideth. When the firelizard egg hatched it was a brown firelizard. Arnold became Elana's only true friend. She pampered him to no end. Elana put all of her heart into Arnold for she felt that this would be the closest she would ever come to impressing a dragon of her own. When she was informed that she would be able to stand on the hatching grounds she felt that her dream might actually come true.

During Covith's clutch of M6 D20 Elana impressed green Kerimanth. She was so happy that she actually impressed a dragon and even more so that she impressed a green now she looked forward to when she and Kerimanth are out of weyrlinghood so that she and her mate Cael can be together.

Pets: Arnold - brown flit - Arnold is Elana's one and only true friend. He is overly protective of Elana. When she is being picked on by the other fosterlings Arnold will go into a defensive posture (stands on hind legs, wings spread wide, and hisses) this usually makes them stop picking on her long enough for her to set away and hide.

Physical Description: Kerimanth is a gangly, little dragon. Though she is long-limbed and has a long tail, she looks rather like a regular green that's been stretched out more than anything else. Her colour is a uniform silvery-green, like a forest covered by frost. Her underside is dark. Darker than the rest of her hide, it is almost a jungle-type green, marred by random dotes of green so light it almost looks white. A sleek, strong-looking body frame shows her obvious prowess in flight, matching her long-look. High, defined head knobs are seemingly designed to draw attention to her head. Long like the rest of her body, her jaw is clearly defined in straight long lines with a sharp nose and eye ridges. Her eyes are a bit smaller than normal and are once again following suit with her body, long and sharp.

Emotional Description: She is small, but her personality more than makes up for her size. She has the fury of a small storm when she gets angry, and often she feeds off of her rider's emotions and the pairing work off each other. She likes to talk, but not to gossip and she tends to leave her rider’s mind alone, effectively keeping her secrets. Not one to really care for most gold’s, she finds them stuffy and prissy, so she tends to leave them to themselves. Where Elana would rather stay indoors and work on her next lesson. Kerimanth will be wailing to go out fishing or *anything* that will get her out and about. She loves to socialize and often flirts with the browns and bronzes; she rarely hesitates to snuggle up against any willing bronze. Kerimanth is a very jealous green and if any of her preferred male dragons even go near another green or gold, they get a literal tongue lashing.
