Physical Description: Aviendha is a dark-haired young woman, not gorgeous, not ugly, but pretty. Her hair is a dark chococlate brown that hangs straight to her shoulders when she lets it down. Most of the time it is pulled up in a ponytail with a thin blue ribbon. She has a slim figure and well-developed legs, but she remains undeveloped in other areas. She is of average height at 5' 6" and moderatley skinny, weighing 105 lbs. Her eyes are hazel under short lashes. She has a dimple in each cheek, but only when she smiles. She was blessed with straight teeth and has kept them fairly white, not sparkling, but not yellow either. Her feet are and hands are small and her fingers are agile, good for sewing, or working knots.

Emotional Description: Aviendha can be difficult. She is a very talented young lady and doesn't mind telling you. She doesn't brag, but it's true. She is in great physical shape and is very smart. She prefers to work alone, but if she has to be in a group, she wants to lead it. She is very good at mathematical things, like angles of wing formations and such. If she doesn't like you, she'll ignore you. If you press the subject, she tell you off. If you continue to persist, she'll belt you one. She doesn't like interference, even from elders. Surprisingly, she is good with small children and has all the patience in the world for them. She loves playing with the little weyrbrats and has won the friendship of many of the mothers as she keeps their toddlers out of their hair.

Brief History: She is one of only three children born to a Dragonhealer and his wife. Her father was a fairly wealthy man and saw to it that she and her sisters were well provided for and well educated. Because of her intelligence, she became an Apprentice at only 12, though unofficially. She went with her father on all of his rounds and soon knew more about caring for Dragons than most Riders did. It was natural that she would oneday stand at a Hatching, but that didn't happen for another 4 years. She is not looking forward to class because her father taught her more than most of the teachers know. She could do with some history and knots, but the rest is cake for her.

Pets: Azure - blue flit - 4 turns - Azure was a present from Aviendha's father when she became an Apprentice. He is very obedient and helpful at fetching and carrying small items. He is very protective of Aviendha, though not extremely intelligent. He's not dumb, it just takes a couple of times to get things through his thick skull.
