The Writer: Kathy Baldock
Kathy Baldock is a new writer and contributer to the RenoOut magazine. She is writing for both their written publication and their online publication. She shares her own story in her own words. Kathy is a Christian who happens to be straight. She feels that God has called her to advocate for the GLBT Christian Community of which there are many of us.
Kathy shares very personal moments in her writings and how she came to feel the calling to reach out to the Gay Community with a Straight Voice.
Kathy states: "I am a 51 year old resident of society and a Christian for 25 of those years. Both these citizenships have colored my views. In the most extreme of cases, I have heard the barb, “all gays go to hell”, and I try to place this in my larger contextual solid shell of “Jesus is merciful and compassionate” and chose to hang out with the outcasts and the marginalized."
