The Winners of The "Private Ei8ht 3rd Annual Model Search 2002 elimination"By Kairi Akira

            The contest begins with almost a thousand applicants who were all screened and tested through VTR. I was one of them...a few weeks later, the semi-finalists of the contest has been chosen. There were 25 boys & 25 girls divided into 6 divisions on 6 Robinsons mall.The first up to the fifth batch of candidates has already been done throughout the months of May & June. And now, it's time for the Robinsons Galleria batch (6th) to compete. Here in this batch, there are supposed to be 5 boys and 5 girls. Also, the best among all the participants are in this batch. Therefore, it will be a great show.

     This program will be divided into 4 different segments: the all white segment, the undergarments segment, the summer & sportswear segment, and the formal all black segment.

     The all white segments requires the participants to wear their best white clothes including the Private Property shirt and a white pants or shorts (for boys) and skirts (for girls).

     On the undergarments segment, the participants came out with cool & sexy outfits like boxer's shorts & cool underwear for the girls.

       Next was the Sportswear & Summer outfit. There are two types on this, so we need to change within 20 seconds. shhhhhhhoooo!!! one with the cap which ruined my hair... and another is with the bag.

        Last was the formal all black segment. We go over the stage one by one with an inroduction to us. And after that, its the question and answer part. We were all given cool questions...i mean them... i had the worst "why do you hate gay roles?" hihihi!

        And so, the judging was done, and its time to announce the winners. There are two special awards, the Mr. Axe gentleman & the Ms. Bambini. The Mr. Axe Gentleman was awarded to Ken Koizumi while the Ms. Bambini was awarded to Rae Adellaine Carrera. There are a tie for Ms. Pvt. 8, Rae Carrera and Tanya Scaife won the ms. pvt. 8. While on the Mr. Pvt., there are 3 winners, Ken Koizumi, Phil Jansen Torio & Ryan... I didn't win...but its ok. They will all be competing against each other in the Finals on July 27, 2002 on the Robinsons Place Manila. Be there!!!!!!

I lost, but I won...

I might have lost the competition but I surely enjoyed everything... From the very time I went over to rehearse, up until the time I lost... I really dont expect to win, that is because Im an amateur, the youngest among them, the shortest, and the newest... It will take a really good luck to win...
I might have lost the competition, but see what I've won in replacement... I've made some really good friends, I won a few shirts and gift certificates...I've had my first experience of being cheered by the crowd & screamed by the girls...I am a winner then... don't you think??
