very rare Volkswagen board game.

This is one of those items that you very rarely have the privilege to lay your eyes upon. At the Drew's Offroad VW Show I bumped into a man by the name of Ted Finesman who happened to be showing his 71 VW Westfalia Van. I noticed that he had what appeared to be a Volkswagen board game inside his van. After talking with for a few minutes he agreed to set up the game to allow me to take several photos it for this website.

There are only 3 original board games that are complete known to still exist today. The original game was produced in the early 50's by a German company by the name of Hausser. Ted Finesman stumbled upon a person with an original print of this game a few years back, the man was offering it for sale for a wopping $1k. This was just to much for Ted to pay, but he still craved to own a copy of it for himself. Then a man by the name of Thomas Classen reproduced 20 sets of these games and sold them for (I belive) $150 each. This happens to be #12 in the set.
