What
We Do
Wall Painting
One
of the organization’s main projects is the drawing of images of
the dolphins on
walls. By painting these adorable animals, the organization is
promoting
awareness of the protection of the dolphins. It is also encouraging the
people
to join its advocacy to save the marine animals. The organization is
encouraging volunteers to paint the dolphins with them to support its
advocacy.
The wall painting usually lasts for two to three days.
Beach clean ups
The beach is a
reflection of our
seas and ocean. If the beach is dirty, it means that our bodies of
water are
very much polluted as well. The beach clean-up by the organization is
usually
along the beaches where these marine animals are being washed up. The
organization tries to save the animals if it’s still alive since
the
organization is headed by a veterinarian, who is capable of taking care
of the
wounded animal. The beach clean-up serves as a conservation effort of
the
Marine Wildlife Watch of the Philippines. The volunteers are encouraged
to save
the environment and at same time have fun with the natural
surroundings. The
beach clean-ups usually lasts for one day.
Seminars on
conservation
The seminars held by
the organization are about the conservation of
the marine wildlife, the different ways on how to save them, the
current
situation of these marine animals, and the consequences of the damaging
and
polluting our environment.
