Minnesota has a lot to offer as far as travel and recreation and environmentally speaking, it is a great place to live as well. I enjoy living here. My favorite places in Minnesota are all in the East-Central and Northeast part of the state. They include Duluth, the North Shore, Baker Lake in the Superior National Forest, the Boundary Waters Canoe Area, and Banning State Park where I first got the idea for my Senior Dissertation. Whenever I get a chance to go somewhere, I usually choose one or many of these places.

     Because I enjoy the outdoors, I think it is natural that I am all for making sure we don't ruin the quality of life we have here in Minnesota. My goal in life to somehow actively take part in protecting our surroundings for it is all who benefits from it. I have concentrated my studies at St. Cloud State University in Geology, Hydrology, and Environmental Studies in order to achieve this goal. I just want to be able to do my part in increasing the quality of life here in Minnesota.
