| MY BOB JINX IS OVER! But more about that later! Its funny how things happen for a reason. Both Jane and I were supposed to be in Newfoundland at this point in time and ended up drowning our sorrows in Pittsburgh. It was a lovely way to go! Drove 6 hours to arrive at 5 PM and no one I knew was there. It was drizzling and I was praying that it wouldnt be cancelled. Finally Jane got there, Kristin and her family and little by little people from the chatroom started to find one another. Caity and Hanna were there (Caity is a VERY LUCKY GIRL). They had gotten rained out in Rochester, told someone that and ended up backstage for the show! We have a pic of Caity in the wings. PHD was there with her family and Kinley and Jason flew in from Chicago. Kate the Great and friend brought the famous painted guitar. Ali arrived with a GBV (Great Big Virgin- her first GBS show) and a picnic, Dianne got there later with friends. Danny la lad thru the sound check, singing the Lumberjack Song from Monty Python and some drinking song. After some more drizzle, it finally let up and people began to trickle into the park. I thought by the end of the night that it was surprising how many people were there considering the weather was so lousy. |

| It was my first time seeing Sarah Harmer. She was good. I was so impressed by the sounds that Kevin could get out of that cello! Amazing. She was dressed like a little kid, sneakers, shirt, too-short long pants (floods, as my brother says) and her hair in two little ponytails. Clothes: Alan- nice blue jeans and a shiny black shirt (very nice looking!) San- black button-down shirt, black pants (VERY nice looking) Darrell gray T-shirt, black pants (always very nice looking) Bob bleeding leopard shirt, black pants (what can I say? I love the guy, but he needs new stage clothes.) |
