Monte Carlo - Page Two
So this is what it looks like now.  I had my buddy Justin take out the back window for me so I could work on the roof more easily, and my buddy Frenchie has provided invaluable advice and even loaned me some hardware.  In any case, the bondo work is coming slowly...the roof was pretty rusted underneath the old vinyl top.  I'm in the process of smoothing things out so I can have a nice, smooth, hard top.
The frontal view...I'm learning more about bondo than I ever really wanted to know...
Right after Dad and I adapted a hood and fender from a '71 parts car to replace the damaged parts on our '70.  The hood is directly interchangeable but the fender required some modification in how it mates up with the extension around the headlight.
So the GTO hood scoop is finally in my spare hood.  When finished, this is going to look good.  I've never seen a Monte with anything like this on it.  Still some work to do, but I'm getting there.
NEW MONTE PICS HERE!!!
Surronding are pics of the Monte just after it's new paint was applied.  Lookin' good!
Above & right were taken just after it was sprayed.  Below is how it looked before I took to painter Dan Woods.
