NORMAL DIET: A wide variety of forest species; no documentation exists of taking of domestic livestock.
NORMAL LIFESTYLE: A giant forest raptor and the primary predator of the Philippines. Dominant forest trees on steep mountain slopes are the preferred nesting sites, the nest itself usually on an epiphytic fern. Lays one egg, rearing one offspring every two years. A pair of Eagles has a territory of 60 to 100 square kilometer.
