Merry Brandybuck and Pippin Took: These little rascals certainly liked to get themselves into trouble and it was just as much fun seeing them try to get out of it. Cousins to Frodo, these two not only represented the true meaning of family and friendship, but how with strong bonds and a big heart, no matter the size, they could accomplish anything. Merry after the War of the Ring became A Knight of Rohan, then returned to the Shire and settled down as Master of Buckland. Pippin, the youngest member of the hobbits, became a Knight of Gondor. He returned with Merry to the Shire, where he eventually married (Diamond)and had a son, he named Faramir. They made one last journey to Gondor in there old age and died in Minas Tirith. They were buried with King Elessar. |
