Golden Oriole ( Oriolus oriolus )
Size : Myna ( 25 cm )
Location where spotted : The inner path ( NOT the main one ) leading from the parking on ARAI road to the main temple ( where people exercise ).
Generally spotted on : the rain trees, which are very common in the city. It can be easily spotted from the terraces of buildings, during the season in which these trees shed their leaves ( around feb. )
Marathi Name : 'haldya' - a referance to its bright yellow colour, which is the same as turmeric powder.
