Welcome to the butterfly area of the nature section. Here we shall attempt to list the butterflies found on the Law college tekdi. Making a list of and stating details of butterflies is much harder as compared to birds, for the simple reason that there is not much written about them ( if written, it is not so easily available ). There is no easily available, yet 'standard' book on them, like salim ali's in the case of birds. Also, searching for butterflies on the tekdi is a much harder job, as they have to be literally searched for. Another difference between this site and the birds one is that all the photographs here have been taken by 'tekdiites'. This site still has a lot of work to be done on, and more information, alongwith photos will be continuously added.
