| Greetings to you all in the lovely name of Jesus. This page is dedicated to both Angela and I, and our recent engagement. As you probably read in the earlier pages, we met in #apostolicyouth and began talking in the early part of the year 2000. We met not long afterwards, and began to officially date in March of 2000. Time certainly has flown and I began to feel that it was "the time". So, on June 9th of 2002, at approximately 1:10 pm, I proposed to my sweetheart, and thankfully, she said yes. I thought long and hard as to how to actually ask her. I asked many folks for ideas and just finally settled down and figured what I wanted. So, on Saturday the 8th of June, I stayed up quite late working on some projects, and did a small design that simply said, "Angela Nichole, will you marry me?" I got up early the following day and took it to Kinko's Printing and had it printed. I then drove to church and since Angela was teaching Sunday School, she had left before I did. Once getting there, I told my mother my plan and how I wanted to do the proposing. So following service that morning, she and I went to talk to our Pastor once more and before we got in there, I snuck over to my truck and got the design out. After that, I got it to my mother who then agreed to meet us at Lonestar Steakhouse. Her instructions from me were to simply have one of the waitresses put it in her menu so she'd see it when she opened it up. After talking to Pastor, we left and arrived at the restaurant. Upon being seated, my mother got her camera out, and at last, the waitress brought our menus. Needless to say, she was speechless when she opened it up and seen the design inside. And like I stated just a few minutes ago, she said YES!!! So our wedding date is officially set for July 12th, of this year and things are moving right along. Following are some pics of the design as well as her reaction to the proposal. As soon as the wedding takes place, we'll be putting up many more photos. So be checking in at a later date. Till then, may God continue to bless America, and may God bless you as well. |
