Sophie #631, is a female American Pit Bull Terrier -- She is approx. 1 year old, red with natural ears. She came from a very abusive situation, however, she is doing very well and adapting. She adores people and kids that she has met (7+). She is great with the other dogs and is currently being housebroken and crate trained. I think it will be a long time before she is completely housebroken, though. She does not soil the house on purpose or from lack of training. She is extremely submissive (due to her earlier abuse) and will urinate as she wiggles, when you approach her. We will keep working with her and socializing her so she can learn that not all people plan to be mean to her. In the meantime, she is available to a very loving and understanding home. At this time, I would not recommend her for a home with cats.

Alvin Sit Alvin Side Alvin

Alvin #615, is a male Queensland Heeler mix --with just maybe  a touch of APBT thrown in there for good measure.  He is about 3 years old, white with black spots. This lovable boy was abandoned in a grocery store parking lot in Las Vegas! They left him in a rain storm with his collar and a glass bowl of food! He had Illinois rabies tags on his collar, one can only imagine what brought him to be left in such a heartless manner. When he was found, he had glass embedded in both front feet and was fairly cut up. He had at one time been someone's pet. He is housebroken, crate trained, good with other friendly dogs and loves kids. The wonderful lady that found him took him to the shelter, in hopes that his owners would come. But, on his last day to live, she went and rescued him out of the shelter. His strange odyssey ended with him coming to live with us. His tail is docked and his ears stand straight up. He will be a magnificent pet for the right home! If you can provide that perfect forever home for Alvin, please contact us.

Duke Face Duke Body

Duke #616, is a male Lab/Chow Mix (maybe a touch of APBT in the cute ears) -- Duke is grand dog! He is almost 6 years young, housebroken, crate trained, great with kids, good with other friendly dogs and a real love. He has a blue spotted tongue from the Chow and the rutter tail of the Lab the perfectly adorable ears could be Am Pit Bull. Duke has been well loved and cared for in his life, unfortunately, tragedy occurred and recently both of his owners passed away. This is why Duke became a part of our treasured group of residents. He would adore a loving home with a kind hearted family to call his own.

Pearl Pearl Run

Pearl #606, is a female American Pit Bull Terrier -- Pearl was rescued from certain death at a shelter, after being held as evidence in a cruelty case for 5 months! She is fawn with black pigment and natural ears 20-24 months old, about 37 lbs. She is the most affectionate dog on the planet! She will lie still for hours, if you will pet her. She loves to cuddle in your arms (blame her foster dad for that) like a baby. She is crate trained, housebroken, good with all of the other dogs she has been exposed to, and LOVES children. She is very quiet, she was here for a couple of months before we heard her bark. She is an amazing angel just waiting for the right family to love her forever.

LuLu LuLu 2 LuLu Josh & LuLu

LuLu #600, is a female American Pit Bull Terrier -- She is brindle and white with black pigment, approx. 6 or 7 years old. She is loving, playful, goofy and very energetic, she has a lot of life and love to give someone. She is housebroken and crate trained, she is very sweet, quiet and comical. She gets along with other non aggressive dogs, her pal being a 14 lb. Rat Terrier. She does seem to have a high prey drive and would probably not be good with cats. Lulu loves children -- she is very good with our son (in the photo with her). She would love to have a special human companion or family to give her lots of attention and cuddles. Lulu has cropped ears. She was rescued from a local animal shelter on her last day.

If you would like to sponsor LuLu, please click here to view our sponsors page.
