Pete The Pup

Perhaps the best known American Pit Bull Terrier / American Staffordshire Terrier in history, "Pete the Pup" ( also known as: UKC Lucenay's Peter, whelped 09/06/1929, bred by A. A. Keller in California. His AKC reg. name was just "Pete") of the "Our Gang" comedies fame. He was among the first UKC American Pit Bull Terriers to be registered with AKC as a Staffordshire Terrier in 1936. (The prefix American was added by AKC in, I believe, 1972.)
