September 22th: Hello my friends! How is everyone? I'm splendid at the moment (apart from the fact we're back at school - that sucks!) These last few weeks have been very eventful for Katharsis! We won a battle of the bands over in Friern arnet beating off competition from 3 other very talented young bands. The best news is that we won ourselves a day in a recording studio to work on a two songs demo! Huzzah! Further news regarding that will come and the songs will eventually appear on our brand new PureVolume Site <== Check it out!! We also did a gig the other night for our friends who hosted the original battle of the bands and went down a treat there aswell =) As for future announcements on the gig front we are playing as the main act in a Cheshunt school production next week on Thursday. We'll be playing a indie covers (Kaiser's, 'Phonics, Scissor's and Razorlight) and our new Disco-y song called "Change In You". Not a huge gig but nonetheless if you wanna see then come on down the proceeds go to Childline. If you don't why are you on our site! =) Nah just kidding I love you guys. Well adieu good fellows!
