| The 6 member band (Tanco [bass], I-Watch [guitar], Yukky [drums], Mama-R [keyboards], Shinji-Man [percussion] and Kon �gMPC�h Ken [samples and beats]) known as Home Grown has been doing their thing since 1996. From their home base of Kanagawa, Hayama (a popular spot in Tokyo due to it's location near the ocean) they were determined to produce true sounding and original reggae in Japan. They have appeared at numerous reggae festivals around the country and are considered to be one of the main forces behind the JAPAREGGAE (Japanese Reggae) movement in Japan. Since their debut they have backed numerous well known and not so known J-reggae artists on the scene today. Some of their honorary members include Pushim and Moomin. They released their fourth album �gTime is Reggae�h in the summer of 2004 featuring artists from all over the J-Reggae and Hip Hop scene, including Dabo, Yoyo-C, Boy-Ken, Kreva (Kick the Can Crew) and more.
