Physical Ability: She lacks the physical strength inherent in a full blooded gargoyle, but her speed and agility more than make up for it. Her magical ability is limited at best, although unusual talents occasionally surface without warning or explanation.
Weapon of Choice: She prefers the use of her talons and fangs, but when those cease to be enough she wields a mean fighting staff.
Personality: As cheetah’s are solitary by nature, her emotions often conflict as her gargoyle blood yearns for the companionship of a clan. She is usually quiet and reserved, but sporadically lets loose in moments of pure randomness. She usually only shows her violent side when she is hunting.
Physical Description: Her tawny fur is covered in black spots. Her black hair is long and in the form of a mohawk. Her bat-like wings are tawny on the inside, like her fur, and black on the outside. Her cheetah tail is also the same color as her fur and has a black tip. Her face looks like that of a human save for the black tearlines running down either side of her nose, which perfectly offset her cool, amber eyes. She has no horns, cat-like, rounded ears, the slender appearance of a cheetah, and the taloned hands and feet of a gargoyle. Her eyes glow orange and she has so little true gargoyle blood that she does not turn to stone during the day, but when she is seriously injured she goes into a deep, almost catatonic sleep in order to recover.
History: Born of a union between a human foreign exchange student and a Kenyan gargoyle, Jyncie’s early life was that of a somewhat normal child. She learned the ways of the African wild, as well as the animal sciences taught by her human mother. Tragically, when Jyncie reached early adolescence, her father was smashed in his stone sleep by frightened and easily deluded tourists from America. She watched, unable to do anything, as her mother was beaten to death trying to protect her father’s sleeping form. Labeled the spawn of a demon and cast out by the villagers she had grown up with, Jyncie spent the next several years wandering the African plains, half hoping to be left alone with her grief, and yet, half hoping to find a clan to take her in. To make things worse, on her 18th birthday she was discovered by Dr. Anton Sevarius who, intrigued by her hybrid nature, kidnapped her. He brought her to a research facility in America where he could study her. One night, she managed to escape from her cell and was almost free when Dr. Sevarius shot a dart at her as she fled. Once she was far enough from Sevarius, Jyncie began to feel ill and, much to her horror and dismay, was soon transformed into a cheetah-like mutate. ::gasp::
Likes: Lots of things. Books, learning, dancing, acting, music, TV, movies, food, friends, computers. Gargoyles and Star Trek are definitely at the top of my list. I like reading and writing most of all and I plan to be a writer someday.
Dislikes: Mean people, homework, condescending adults, annoying bratty children, dogs who bark too much, bad movies, boy bands (when you grow up in a musical household you learn that Backstreet Boys are NOT good music), anime (okay, okay, this I actually kinda like this sometimes, but only the good stuff. Some of that stuff is just so cute it makes me sick. Die pokemon, die!!!)
Hates: Stupid people!!! Racism, hate crimes, discrimination, overbearing organized religions (not mentioning any in particular, I don’t want people to get mad at me!), obsessive-compulsive disorder (I’m down to checking the locks on the doors only 10 times a night!), ignorance (it’s one thing be stupid, sometimes it’s genetic or something, but there’s no excuse for a genuine unawareness and lack of knowledge. Grow up and learn people!!)
