My Valentine by Drawn Thread

My Valentine is an out of print design by Drawn Thread. I was fortunate enough to acquire one from ebay a while back. When I purchased it, I had full intention to stitch it for my serious boyfriend at the time. Unfortunately, as I actually started to stitch this, we encountered some significant problems and will never be able to resolve them. We broke up recently. So I don't have his initials on the piece. My girlfriend suggested for me to put a frog charm on the piece until I find my soul mate. It is a cute idea. I wish I can laugh at it more whole heartily!

Valentine Needle Roll by The Thread Gatherer

This little design by the Thread Gatherer is so easy to stitch. It only used two colors, but the fiber is so nice to work with. Silk!!!! I love it. And the ribbon for tying the needle roll is out of this world. The different shades of pink mixed with a hint of gray. How lovely!

Love Blooms All Year by Elizabeth's Designs

How appropriate is this design for the month of Love! With all the satin and long stitches, this one was so quick to finish. I was surprised with the size of the design. It is a little larger than I expected. Not sure how to finish it yet.
