Joanna's January 2001 XS Accomplishments
Sleeping Angel by Just Nan
An older design by Just Nan. This is not one of my favorite design from her.
But I thought it is different enough and I have the box for the finishing,
so I don't really have any excuse. I am trying to work off my kit stash.

My Sampler by Sheepish Designs
This is the February freebie SAL alternative choice. It was fun and
quick to stitch this one. The "A" is done using synmar
cross while "B" is done using four sided stitches. Since I
used a smaller count fabric than expected, I wasn't able to do the
rice stitch on the alphabet "C". Even using one strand of
thread, it looked funny and I decided to do simple cross stitch. The
finished piece still looks wonderful. |

Folk
Heart Needle Roll by Shepherd's Bush
This is the February SAL assignment for NR-A-month program. I want
to get this one done earlier so that I can send it out as
birthday present to a stitcher friend. |

Bee Mine by Lizzie Kate
This is the SAL assignment for February. Since I am helping to lead
the group, I better have something to show! |

Winter Scissor Fob by Drawn Thread
The Drawn Thread bb is holding a freebie SAL this year. Of course, I
am very optimistic since this is only the beginning of the year, to
participate and finish all the monthly stitching. (hehe...)

Christmas Drawer by Shepherd's Bush
Life became quite hectic at the end of last year with all the changes in
career, love, and health. I started this project toward the end of December,
but was not motivated to finish it before the end of the year. Finally, I
picked it up again this last week. Once I started stitching, it wasn't
too bad at all. It was finished in 2 seating. |
