The Story

Recently, 8 Jews in were taken captive by Palestinian Terrorists. Their are held without reason against the US and Israel because they were defending the Jewish people. The captives are mostly Soldiers. These captives are being held against the 7 Noahide Laws - incumbent upon mankind and international Law. Many captives are threatened with death. In 1997 two Jews were hanged in Iran on similar charges. Each Jew is responsible one for another. We have several alternatives to help save their lives.

1) The Political Solution - writing petitions to the press, the government, rallys, etc.

2) The Spiritual Solution - praying, learning Torah and/or doing Mitzvot on the Jews behalf

We have already signed the petition. Now we can do something more potent - to turn to Hashem (G-d) to help them. Since "The heart of the ruler is in G-d's hands", if we make our spiritual efforts, Hashem will more likely listen to our pleas.

We thus ask each visitor to pledge, not money, but time to learn Torah on their behalf. Even just 5 minutes. Our goal is to reach a total of 1,800 hours (18 = chai/life x 100) of Torah learning.

We turn to you to do two simple things to help save 22 innocent lives.

1) Pray and learn in their merit - please pledge time below.

2) Let others know about this page
