Somebody moved into this room four months ago, and I still don't know who it is. I have seen more than one person enter this room with their own key.

The management at the Seneca will not tell me even though I sent a certified letter to the manager requesting this. As you can see from the photos below, your guess is as good as mine as to who lives in this room next door.

I am current looking for an attorney as this has caused a major disturbance to my life and peace. the management has been notified of this nuisance in writning, and although they claim to be doing something, I haven't noticed any changes

On July 8th, I received a notice to remove all items from outside my door citing a policy with City Housing Inc and "aesthetic cleaning" of the common areas. This aesthetic cleaning has not happenned, and now City Housing Inc will not let me put the camera back up, even though the management was notified, in writing that people coming out of the room next door were attempting to vandalize the power box next to me, and that I had been assaulted by someone coming out of the room next door. This is why I put the camera up so now I cannot protect my property and my well being.

It's now July 11th, and the problem is now getting worse again. people are coming back and forth again who may or may not live there, and I can no longer prove it because I was ordered to take the camera down.

What is City Housing Inc trying to hide?

update, June 12th, 2002- I have received word from people who have looked at this website that some of the people documented in the photos below are known "crack users" and/or crack dealers.

There wouldn't be any need to improve the quality of life if City Housing Inc didn't willingly harbor drug addicts(see above) I want to know why I cannot protect myself with camera surveilance outside my own room in one of the highest crime areas in San Francisco. For 6 months I have been complaining about this. this website used to be about cleaning up 6th Street and improving life in this hotel for working people. Instead, the management, Ana B Arguello, and City Housing Inc has made a deliberate attempt to take the very nuisances of the streets and bring them in here and make them my next door neighbors. Now I cannot work because these welfare/general assistance recipients are on a permanent party spree, roaming the halls at 2AM in the morning, keeping me awake at all hours of the night, at my tax dollar expense.

Look at all the parties that go on every day and night, day in and day out.

The management has been told repeatedly, in writing, of these nuisances, and all they give is lip service. There is NO change. There has been no change for over 6 months and we working people have to suffer

I have notified the SF District Attorney that there is definate welfare fraud going on in this hotel, with the full knowledge of City Housing Inc. I have certified mail sent to City Housing Inc from 3 months ago notifying them of their legal liabilty of insisting on harboring nusiances. Not only has this nuisances not stopped, it has gotten progressively worse.Meanwhile, the management sits back in their office all day and has private meatings among friends.

City Housing Inc has no intention of protecting working peoples rights. The only intention is to make as much money as possible from the City Of San Francisco via welfare grants..

This must stop and I demand a civil grand jury investigation into this supposed non-profit, including accounting practices, and whether or not management directly profits from these San Fransico City welfare grants.

I want to know why 90% of the people in this hotel are now on welfare or Social Security. I want to know why these people are allowed to roam the hotel at 2AM in the morning disturbing everyone else.

This is not a matter of legitimate welfare grants for people that want to get back on their feet. This is a large number of people who have no intention of getting a job, but party all day and all night, every day, and every night, and milking the system for all it's worth. I would definately say the same for City Housing Inc, given their response to my complaints

I want to know why the management refuses to review their own internal security tapes. Tapes that are kept for more than a week.

Every one of the complaints that have been made could have been viewed on their own tapes, yet the management has failed to review even one tape, forcing me to set up my own camera system. City Housing then has the gall to order me to take my camera down.

Not a single tape has been saved for evidence after 6 months of daily complaints. The only possible conclusion is that City Housing Inc is hiding something very serious. July 2nd, 2002---I have heard from two different sources that people associated with the room next door want to kill me. I heard it myself from this person pictured below while he was standing in the doorway next door this morning and that he wanted to know what I look like so he can "fuck me up". All this because I have been complaing of nuisances from these crackheads next door, something the Seneca and City Housing Inc are fully aware of and refuse to do anything about. I now fear for my life and am desperately looking fo an attorney
