Gazpacho  Presents: The Tale of the Scale
(Joe Cardoza Continued)
"Holy Toledo, Joe..!"

A Welterweight is no more than 147 pounds..?

"Hit the Speed bag for another 30 minutes, -it's gotta be 148 by tonight"

Windy Winsor had to put up "collateral" that Joe  would be at 148 lbs.when he met Young Jack Thompson.
He lost that one by a KO, but still rocked the crowds. Maybe he was too weak from trying to make the weight...?
After all, his handlers had been putting him up against every weight class there was. I've heard of "Cruiser Weights"
but I guess his managers invented the Yo Yo class, for more fights and purses - per month!
