An overflow photo storage area for the SSM is located on the SSM-p web page. You can subscribe to the SSM-p by sending an e-mail message to [email protected], and unsubscribe by sending an e-mail message to [email protected].

You can find the SSD (which contains older digests and photos) by going to the SSD web page. You can also subscribe to the SSD by sending an e-mail message to [email protected] (though it is suggested that you change your "Message Delivery" option to "No email.", thus avoiding the junk mail spam in the SSD but still allowing you access to the files, photos, and message archive), and unsubscribe by sending an e-mail message to [email protected].

1.2) What about non-military subjects?

Commercial and civil subjects are discussed, but if that's a big interest to you, I recommend the Airliner Modelling Digest (AMD) as well.

1.3) Where can I find old SSMs and SSDs that I missed?

The oldest digests can be found in the SSD or SSM archives. The digests have been grouped together as text files, each file containing one month of SSDs. More recent messages can be found in the SSD and SSM message sections. To find a specific topic in the SSM, see the modelling index.
