We at Homespun from the Heart have been having lots of fun exploring the world of memory quilts! We have just purchased a scanner so we can import and print all of your photos to make those beautiful memory quilts you have always dreamed about. And we can also have you e-mail your photos to us so we can print them on fabric to use in your very special quilt project. Memory quilts make beautiful gifts for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, the birth of a baby, and for the proud graduate.

Red work
This is a very beautiful, old form of embroidery. Using only one stitch, typically done in red embroidery floss and incorporated into a quilt, pillow, wall hanging or baby quilts. We are experimenting in using other colors of embroidery floss to coordinate in home decors. Many times you can find very fine antique pieces using this method of embroidery.
