And another man made right there a portret of you, but not as a painting but as a clay figure.  That was very good, but pricy too and you had to wait at leat a day before you could get your sculpture home.  On the way back to the van we took a look at the amusement park and grabbed a quick lunch.

After all that it was time to start driving towards the Grand Canyon.  We had to drive through the Mojave Desert to reach our destination for tonight : Bullhead City.  Bullhead City is pretty large city just alongside the Colorado River.  We unloaded the van and Brooke explained us how to put up our tents.  Since I knew this already I started right away.  This time I was the more experienced one at setting up our tent because for my tentmate Ryohei it was the first time that he travelled this way.  At 6 pm it was still very warm here, above 35C so I decided to take a quick dip in the river.  The river was very cold but it was very refreshing.  Then we made a typically desert like dinner ==>salads and bread.  We talked a bit about the next day with each other and then went to sleep early because we wanted to be very awake tomorrow when we arrived at the Grand Canyon.
