So here we go with my second story :

Day 1: 25/8/01 ==>Flight to Los Angeles.

This was a fairly normal flight with as usual boring movies to watch and nobody to talk to.  Nothing else happened worth mentioning.

Day 2: 26/8/01 ==>Los Angeles + drive towards Grand Canyon.

The group meeting this morning was at 7.30 am in the lobby of the Hacienda Hotel were I was staying.  It was kind of hard to find my group since there were 2 other Trekgroups in the lobby.  But I did end up with the right group pretty fast.  We took care of the necessary paperwork and then got to meet each other a little bit better.  The first thing that I noticed was that there were more girls now then on my previous Trek last year.  But that didn't stop us from having fun (maybe even more then last year :-)).  After half an hour or so we loaded up the van and took off to see a glimpse of Los Angeles, the City of Dreams.  We first drove to Mann's Chinese Theater, you know that Chinese tempel where all the famous hand and footprints lay in the cement.  There were so many of them that it was impossible to see and read them all in the short time we had.  And I took only one picture, as you can see on the photopages, quite  funny isn't it.  Just in front of Mann's Chinese Theater is also the famous Walk of Fame.  I saw the stars of Elvis, Bruce Lee and many others.  I didn't take any pictures of that because it was to difficult to get me and the star in the same picture.  I bought already some postcards of LA and then it was time to get back to the van.
