Rumour Mill: Late Night Edition With Chock Full: EMWC Redux? LWC-City Jack War? Women's Wrestling - Is It Hot? All This And More!
By BSCW Staff

Well, doing a late-night'er tonight, Chock Full's back here with some juicy tidbits that'll hopefully get me tired. Anyway... Ahhh... On to the rumours:

- Even though I'm not the owner of the fed anymore, CFF held their first show after my financial ruin of it... Not bad, you read about it Here. Has on it some stars of tomorrow [in fact, a team that'll be showing up on the first BSCW show!]

- Thought EMWC was dead, did you? Well, you're wrong cause it's back, baby! One hundred percent back in black ready for attack! ... Ok, well, not really. And, no, it's not EMWC and probably won't be housing the likes of Spector, Kinsey, Courtade, Case, or Langseth... BUT it will house one of the braintrusts of the E in Todd Michaelson. After I guess seeing his local training school in Southern California flourish, he figured why let that talent go? So it seems, according to my out-or-work LA spies that Michaelson's gotten contracts together and working on a TV deal. Hey, the E wasn't born in a day, so could this new place be the next revolution in wrestling?

- GIW TV [which can be seen here] came off without any major glitches, but surprisingly didn't see all that many returns from the old roster. While the ones announced [City Jack, Tommy Ganz, Bobby Ray Wilkins, Robert Kellan] and unannounced [I'll let you see those for yourself] made the feel of the original GIW come back, it just wasn't quite the same. Not a knock since some of the new guys performed well, but I just hope that the GIW brass doesn't try to remake the old, but rather goes ahead into a new direction.

- A rumour that's been flying around has come true: from the people who brought you PICO and Dream Visual Fighting come a new pro women's wrestling federation. Unlike DVF, this new fed will take place in the States, most likely, and a TV contract has been discussed. No other word as of yet on this development, but it sure looks to be an interesting development.

- It seems that many federations are courting sure-to-be EMWC Hall of Famer Mark Langseth into their fold... RCW has been aggresive in trying to coax the retired wrestler back into action, but like he stated here on JTF! 3001, Langseth is content where he is and that his injuries hold too much of a risk back in the ring. Some smaller feds have offered him creative control, but he's spurned them all and will probably stay out of the business for a good while.

- RCw, fresh off their first broadcast that's full of surprises [See both here: Hour One and Hour Two], RCW's been making contracts with many cities in the midwest to be exclusive venues of the St. Louis federation. With no real big US fed right now, RCW's got it easy by locking up most of the upper midwest.

- City Jack's recent comments about Longhorn Wrestling Council has gotten the rotund one into some fire from many of the LWC faithful. One wrestler, who wished to be anonymous, stated that City Jack shouldn't talk about LWC. "He was only here for a couple of months before the place had to shut down. Then he used that rep he earned here to go on to other successes. If anything, he should be thanking Powell for every minute he was here."

And... That's all for tonight! Sleep for me!
