* RCW RESPONDS TO KINSEY'S ACTIONS:

According to an official statement on RCW.com, the company is threatening legal action against Luke Kinsey and his breakaway company, North East Championship Wrestling.

The statement says RCW's lawyers are looking into the contracts of the wrestlers Kinsey claims are now part of NECW.

"Until the situation is clarified legally, the aforementioned wrestlers are being stood down without pay and will not wrestle in RCW or any other wrestling organisation," the statement says.

"As for Kinsey, RCW is weighing up its options, and may pursue legal action."

The wrestlers involved are John Shock, Pure X, Vinny Carmazzi, Gideon Frost, Tyler Beck and Rob Magnum.

* GRIFFIN JAMES IS PISSED

What could infuriate the World Champion beyond belief besides being confronted by the entire heel portion of the RCW roster on a recent edition of Impact? Well, imagine seeing the company you love getting gutted. In a call to a drive-time Washington D.C. radio show, James said:

"You know, it's... well, to say that I'm looking forward to it would be a lie. Good guys are gone- John Shock's not gonna be in the back any more. Pure X, as much of a d[CENSORED] he is- well... he's not on our show. Carmazzi was gonna go places... but not in RCW, apparently. Kinsey's staying in the game, which is good for some... but this little power play ain't gonna benefit everyone. I'm pissed, to say the least. The first person that says 'invasion' or 'takeover' is getting punched in the goddamned face."

On his current outlook and how it differs from what he's done in the past:

"Well, you know, I've... a long time ago, I was 'that guy'. The loudmouth with the swagger, the braggadocio, the kid with the good lines... with a company on my back, now's not the time for that, and I think my best moments come from what I can do in the ring. I kinda realized that I don't need catchphrases- I can bust them out now and then, but it's not productive. No need to be rote. I'd rather just speak my mind- for good or for bad- and then put it all out there in the ring. That's where I'm at my best."

On being outnumbered:

"Well, I suppose I could recruit Bad Boy McCade for my army... other than that, business as usual."

On Edwin Lopez:

"When the time comes, I'm going to need an axe."

On the future:

"My goal is to be the best... this is my second shot at being the cornerstone of a promotion, so it's time to prove to everyone what I can do matters. It's the same old story, but this time... well, I've got fifteen pounds of gold that I can't give up.

And I won't."
